Join us at the International Secretariat to support us with building a best-in-class global finance function that can deliver excellent outcomes for its diverse stakeholders and takes the lead in delivering continuous improvement.
We are Amnesty International UK. We work to protect women, men and children wherever justice, freedom, truth and dignity are denied. We investigate and expose abuses, educate and mobilise the public, and help transform societies to create a safer, more just world. We received the Nobel Peace Prize for our life-saving work.
Although Amnesty now has 20 regional offices across the globe, most core finance processes have remained unchanged for many years and as a consequence, the increased demand from multiple stakeholder groups are not being fully met. There is currently a lack of detailed induction, training or capacity building strategy for global finance staff which increases the risk of loss of institutional knowledge. Further there is a lack of complete ‘ownership’ over transactional accounting and finance system administration across the regional offices.
In order to support the organisation to achieve its strategic goals, we must ensure that the global finance function is best in class and is delivering real value to the International Secretariat.
If you have change management experience, you are passionate about defending human rights and you would relish the opportunity to work with diverse stakeholders, please support us with transforming our global finance function so it becomes known for delivering continuous improvement, embedding agile working practices and maximizing our talent.
