At Volunteering Matters, we want to show everyone the power of volunteering and we want everyone, no matter their age, ability or situation in life to have the opportunity to volunteer. We believe passionately that volunteering supports community cohesion by allowing everyone to fulfil their potential. We know from our experience volunteering makes a positive difference to the lives of the most vulnerable people in our communities.

EMPLOYEE VOLUNTEERING

Our employee volunteering programme offers businesses the chance to make a lasting and positive impact on their local community. Working with a large number of FTSE and blue-chip organisations such as: National Grid, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC, The Co-operative, Deutsche Bank and Pearson, last year we enabled over 3000 employees to contribute 15,000 hours to their local communities, supporting over 10,000 people.

We offer a bespoke service to deliver interactive, practical and skills-based team volunteering events and individual skills based opportunities.

OUR PROJECT

Working with a BeyondMe team with strong research, analytical and consultancy skills we need to develop a new business model for our employee volunteering programme. Ensuring that we have a robust and appealing model which brings wide-reaching benefits to the businesses we partner with, their employees and those they support. This is an opportunity to ensure that more communities and organisations have access to valuable and enthusiastic employee volunteers, helping them achieve their goals and to fulfil their missions.

Through this project we aim to develop a sustainable business model for our employee volunteering programme, ensuring that both the businesses, their employees and those they support benefit from it.
